Intrusive Contact Relationship

Intrusive contact, also known as thermal contact, refers to the contact between igneous mass and the surrounding rock formed when magma ascended to intrude the surrounding rock and then cools down. In the case of intrusive contact here, fine-grained granite intruded the previously formed medium-grained granite mass.
