Quartz Vein

When silicon dioxide hydrothermal fluid in the underground lava filled into the fractures of granite, white and translucent quartz vein  was formed.

Do you know what quartz is?

Quartz is a typical rock-forming mineral whose major component is silicon dioxide. It is hard, colorless and transparent and will become translucent or opaque when containing   impurities. After being heated or pressurized, quartz will  become  liquid  and fill in the crevices of rock, distributing in vein-like or wall-like fashion.
