Wang Hu Tomb

Wang Hu Tomb is located at the Fanghaoshang at the southeast of Tianmen. It was built against Guiling Peak and faces Qinghua Pool. Wang Hu, whose style name was Yong Wu and art name Maofeng, was a descendant of Wang Lin, the rebuilder of Sanqing Palace of Ming Dynasty. The posterity of Wang’s family called Wang Lin was the first person to develop the mountain. In village and Sanqing Palace, statues are built in honor of him. Wang Hu Tomb was built in Ming Dynasty. The three-layered stone-structured building is slightly smaller than Zhanbiyun Tomb. In front of the tomb is a moon-shaped platform whose marble railings no longer exist. Right in the middle of the platform is built a  stone step leading to the second layer. The entrance of the second layer erects a stone memorial archway carved “the Tomb of Wang Hu-the Founder of Sanqingshan in Ming Dynasty”. Beside the archway are two columns with delicate carvings. At the flank of archway are installed exquisite marbled railings. The third layer is a chamber for ceremony on top of which perches a shrine in which the statues of three brothers of Wang Hu are placed. The ladders on the left and right hand side of the shrine lead downward to the second layer. A stone along the road is inscribed “Fanghaoshang”.

The antique and sophisticated Wang Hu Tomb is embraced by beautiful environment and located at the side of key access route of Sanqingshan, a perfect place for tourists to take a rest.
