On November 25, hosted by the representative office in China of the UNESCO, co-sponsored by the Palace Museum, the World Heritage magazine, the “achievements conference on the 70th anniversary of the establishment of UNESCO and the 30th anniversary of China’s accession to the World Heritage Convention” was held in the Palace Museum. Sanqingshan, as a UNESCO - Mercedes - Benz star fund protection project, was invited to attend.

At the conference, the achievement of the 30th anniversary of China’s accession to the World Heritage Convention: The Chinese version of UNESCO World Heritage Resource Manual, including the World Heritage Disaster Risk Management, World Natural Heritage Management, the Preparation for World Heritage Declaration and the World Cultural Heritage Management; The Bulletin of the Development of the World Natural Heritage in China (1985-2015), 30 Years of Chinese Cultural Heritage, the UNESCO - Mercedes-Benz Star Fund - Report on the Project Achievements of the Conservation and Management of the World Heritage Sites in China (2007-2015).

After the release of the achievements, the delegates participating in the conference mainly discussed the direction for the representative office of UNESCO in China to plan to work with the department of conservation and management of world heritage sites in China in the future, including the capacity building, management effectiveness, awareness raising and public participation of the world heritage sites. Delegates in all heritage sites shared their own work experience, and the relevant experts discussed deeply the feasibility and programs to conserve the heritage for the next period of time.

During the conference, the pictures of 48 Chinese world heritages were also shown, intuitively displaying the achievements China had made in the world heritage conservation for 30 years.
