On January 13-19, the International Training Class of management and development of geopark was held in Beijing, more than 60 members including managers of China global geopark, geopark experts and scientific partners were concentrated for training, and Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark also sent the personnel to attend the training class and they successfully graduated.

Sanqingshan conducted the display on the training site with the theme of “construction characteristics of Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark"; In the workshop of the geopark, a speech on the case topic was conducted with the theme of "community participation in geological tourism", and teaching experts gave consultation, comments and answered questions; Participated in the in-situ investigation to Fangshan UNESCO Global Geopark and Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark.

Through this training, Sanqingshan was familiar with new constitution and operational guidelines of global geopark, clarified concepts, principles and rules of geopark, learned the successful experience of construction and efficient operation of the international global geopark, and clarified how to solve the existing problems in the process of construction and development of the geopark. According to the learning achievement of the training and the new constitution of the global geopark, Sanqingshan adjusted the material for re-evaluation in 2016 in a timely manner.

The theme of the training was "efficient construction and operation of geopark", it was taught by the international top global geopark experts (including all the members of Executive Board of the global geopark) and problems concerned about the park were answered. On the closing ceremony, the organizers said that the training effect was very significant, and they would continue to hold such training in China in the future.
