——Profound Investigation on Yulian Waterfall

Professionals from Jiangxi Province Gan Dong Bei Di Zhi Da Dui and biological specialists from ShangRao Normal University to conduct on-site investigation on Yulian Waterfall on Sanqingshan, which is located among the jungle in the deep valley above the diversion canal of Sanqingshan Shiguling Power Station. The waterfall is split into several parts. Some waterfalls cling to cliff, winding and zigzagging, turning up and fading away. Some waterfalls flow vertically downward, like water curtain dropping. The larger waterfall is more than 34 meters high, the top is more than 18 meters width, and the bottom is 30 meters wide. Around the waterfall there are numerous geological landscapes with important geological value. Rich plant communities are distributed in the jungle, which are of high research and dissemination value. The staff scouted and marked all kinds of geological features and plants throughout the journey, gathering basic data for developing and utilizing Yulian Waterfall subsequently.
