From April 22 to April 24, four-people-delegation of Spanish Villuercas-Ibores-Jara UNESCO Global Geopark headed by the chairman of the provincial council of Cáceres, Spain-Ms. María del Rosario Cordero Martín arrived at Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark for sister-park exchange and visit.

The Spanish delegation surveyed core area of the park, schools, Sanqingshan Museum, Country Melody Rural Tourism Model Base and etc. They learned in detail about the resource value and development conditions on management of the park, also attended the science popularization class held by Sanqingshan Xikeng Central Primary School-"4.22 The World Earth Day", introduced Spainish Geopark to students and presented souvenirs.

During the inspection, both parties introduce the parks’ development situations, and exchanged views in-depth concerning to park construction management, resource conservation, science popularization, preparations for reevaluation and etc. Mr. José Ma Barrera Martín Merás, Director of Villuercas-Ibores-Jara UNESCO Global Geopark was full of praise to the beautiful scenery of Sanqingshan and affirmed the achievement on park construction. Both parties would like to keep up cooperation and exchanges on park management, heritage conservation, science popularization and education, geotourism and other aspects. They would like to jointly push the Global Geoparks career forward.
