Recently, domestic authoritative botanists including Hongdeyuan, a Chinese Academy of Sciences academician, and Liao Wenbo,  a professor of Sun Yat-Sen University led a joint survey team to Sanqingshan and surveyed distribution of plant resources in Sanqingshan, collected considerable physical specimen, and conducted exchange and communication with related personnel regarding how to carry out further scientific research cooperation. Expert team expressed that Sanqingshan enjoyed a wide variety of plant species with high scientific research value and those precious ecological resources must be well protected so as to push forward the sustainable development of park.
