From April 27th to 28th, 2015, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark sent personnel to attend the 2015 China Global Geoparks Annual Conference convened in Cangshan UNESCO Global Geopark.

The theme of the conference was “Geosites Conservation and the Past Decade of GGN”. Conference summarized the major construction and management works of global geoparks done in 2014 and arranged key jobs for 2015. Related park representatives exchanged and shared their respective construction and management experience. During the conference, representatives also witnessed the Opening Ceremony of Cangshan UNESCO Global Geopark.

The conference effectively boosted exchange and cooperation between the geoparks at home and between domestic and foreign geoparks, exerting profound influence on construction and management of Lushan UNESCO Global Geopark.
