Fenglin-Zihu Fault Belt


  The Zihu-Fenglin Fault Belt is one of the three fracture belt of a “triangle fault-block mountain” in Sanqing mountain. It is composed of several faults extending in a NE direction ranging from NE50° to NE60°, including a main fault plane and its fractured rocks zone on both sides as well as a number of secondary fault planes or fracture planes. The fault belt is 10-40m wide and SE-dipping with an angle of 60°. Along the fault belt, there is a cleavage belt, schistositized belt and fault breccia belt formed as a result of early shearing.
