Yufeng Village, with an average elevation of over 1000m and flat terrain, is located in the Yufeng Basin. It is honored as an alpine summer resort with the highest elevation, coolest weather, biggest capacity along the Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway in Eastern China,so it is beautiful ‘plateau of region south of the Yangtze River’ and typical Xanadu. Yufeng Village belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon, but it has the characteristics of alpine climate. The annual average temperature is between 12℃ and 16℃，and the average temperature in July is 23℃. The annual average rainfall is 2200mm. The village is not only a summer resort, but has brilliant landscapes in four seasons, such as azaleas blooming in warm spring, mist curling up in the turn of summer and spring .The summer there is cool and relaxing and the winter there is snowy and frosty.

　　Yufeng has many resources of forestry, agriculture and tourism.The whole village is flat and has spectacular agricultural landscape. The forest coverage rate is more than 80%,and the surrounding forestry resources are so abundant that can be a natural oxygen bar. Springs fall from the mountain and converge in the valley, forming waterfalls and pools,which is Eighteen Dragon Pool. Yufeng has not only rich historical culture, including Huaiyu Academy, poems and cliff inscriptions made by Zhu Xi, Wang Anshi, Wang Zongmu, Zhao You, etc., but also unique red culture. It is a place where the North Marching Anti-Japanese Advance Troops of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army battled, led by Fang Zhimin who was arrested in Yufeng. It is also a place where a story of Qing Pin happened. It is a Chinese Youth Education Base and a National Patriotic Education Base. At present, Memorial Museum (Monument) of the North Marching Anti-Japanese Advance Troops of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army, Qingpin Park, Red Army Experience Zone, etc., were built.
