During the Spring Festival, families are lighting up lanterns which form a long string of lantern dragon, a wish for harvest in the coming year.

　　A month before the Spring Festival comes, lanterns are prepared in local villages. In the 2nd day after the Chinese New Year, lanterns are hung up. Villagers are going to local temples to worship the gods and then they will start to visit each of their friends and relatives. The hosts will provide red candles and tea for the visitors. Every night art performances are taking on with local villagers beating drums and blowing trumpets and other local musical instruments. The lanterns fest will end at the 15th day after the Chinese New Year after villagers worship gods in local temple again.
