In this section, we will introduce the history of taoist in Sanqingshan. In East Jin dynasty (the 3nd century), a famous Taoist priest named Ge Hong lived in Sanqing shan. he made a great contribution to the development of Taoist through writing and teaching the principle of Taoist, therefore, he is well known as founder of Sanqing shan.After that, Sanqingshan became the holy place of Taoist. The interplay between Taoist culture and the great view make Sanqingshan more and more attractive.

Moreover, Due to influence of Taoist for thousand years, the ancient building of Sanqingshan are follow the pattern of eight diagrams along the history. The expert named here as the museum of ancient Taoist architecture in China.
