Paradise Heaven Gate

At the entrance of Paradise Heaven Gate, a stone memorial archway set up in Ming Dynasty stands between two Door-God Temples, in which one warrior sculpture(Shi Wengzhong)is worshiped respectively. Inside the archway, there is a stone incense burner and a pair of towering pillars with couplet engraved as “unparalleled paradise separating from earthly world, the highest fairy peak reaching to the sky in south of Yangtze River”.
To the east of Paradise Heaven Gate is Pan Gong Palace, built in Ming Dynasty; west of it sees ancient inscriptions like “Heaven Gate Peak” and “Heaven Ladder”. Sanqing Temple is in sight looking from its south direction and Hundred Paces Ridge can be overlooked from north.
