In March 2013, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark entrusted Beijing  Laiye Tourism Planning Consulting Co., Ltd. " to compile the Sanqingshan National Geopark Plan . In September 2013, survey work has been completed and in March 2014, text compilation has been completed, in July, 2014, the document has passed provincial review. The Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark General Plan "(see the Attachment 1) has outlined the classification of geosites  and formulated scientific and effective conservation measures to ensure the sound development of geoparks.

 

In May 2013, the Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark, entrusted Nanjing University to compile the Sanqingshan Tourists Management Plan. From June 2013 to October, the Nanjing University expert panel carried  out the field survey and questionnaire data collection in the Sanqingshan Global Geopark, and in December 2013, the plan has been completed (see Attachment 2) Its main contents include the promotion of tourism quality, optimization of peak hour flow control, geopark conservation and OUV improvement, road connection optimization, service facilities optimization and upgrading as well as the  intelligent management of tourists, etc., providing scientific and solid ground for the conservation of geopark resources and visitor management work.
