For many times, by means of offering coordination and free tickets, the Geopark supported volunteer activities for world heritage in China organized by UNESCO World Heritage Committee and Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service.

　　In the 70th anniversary of UNESCO establishment and the 30th anniversary of China’s attendance at World Heritage Convention, 23 world heritage international young volunteers of “Patrimonito” from 8 countries and regions, e.g. England, France, Spain and Korea, came to Xikeng Primary School and carried out the second station activities of World Heritage Site International Volunteer Sanqing Tour.

　　During the five days in scenic region, the volunteers picked up garbage, standardized and corrected signboards, organized signing activity of heritage protection and distributed leaflets of heritage protection to tourists to publicize heritage protection knowledge, hoping they can initiate tourists’ awareness on world heritage through practical behaviors. Besides, volunteers introduced heritage protection knowledge to teenagers of Xikeng Central Primary School to deepen the protection consciousness of the next generation through vivid interactive games and paintings of Patrimonito -- the youth defender of world heritage.

　　In July 2016, 30 international volunteers from 9 countries such as Britain, France, South Korea and Vietnam and so on came to Sanqingshan to promote the environmental protection, by interviewing visitors, questionnaire surveys, and visiting schools and museums.
