From June 19th to 22nd, UNESCO GGN Executive Board sent two experts Nickolas Zouros and Jose Brilha to conduct in-situ survey and appraisal regarding Sanqingshan’s application for global geopark. Through the survey and some related work reports, two experts deeply understood Sanqingshan’s rich granite landforms and biodiversity and highly commended its effort in resource protection and management work.   

Reportedly expert Nickolas Zouros and Jose Brilha wrote down the complete survey report and submitted it to subsequent Global Geoparks Appraising Meeting for deliberation so as to finalize whether Sanqingshan was honored as a global geopark.
