From March 25th to 28th, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark sent personnel to participate in the First Global Geoparks Director Workshop held in Hong Kong. They shared experience concerning management, science popularization and education of geoparks with representatives from 13 geoparks from China and Japan.   

The purpose of workshop is to strengthen exchange among geoparks in Asian-Pacific region and improve their management. The diversified activities included symposium, e-classroom and visit of Hong Kong Science Museum, hugely benefiting all representatives.  GGN Executive Board expert Doc. Maria-Luise Frey also participated in the activity upon invitation.
