From August 4th to July 31st in 2015, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark representatives came to Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark to study park management and re-evaluation preparation work.

Sanqingshan listened to Zhangjiajie representative’s introduction to the 2014 Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark re-evaluation preparation works and its works done in the past two years and discussed how to strengthen geosites conservation and how can construction of global geoparks drive local economy. Both sides also exchanged ideas regarding park management institutions, science popularization and education, museum construction. Then, survey group visited Shuangfeng Village, Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark Museum, Yuanjiajie Park, Tianzishan Park to learn protection situation of geosites at length.
