From October 8th to 11th, “Cultural Journey for Diplomats Stationed in China—The World Appreciates Beautiful Sanqingshan” activity was held in Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark. The activity was led by Li Zhaoxing, Director of China Public Diplomacy Association. Diplomats from over 13 nations including Singapore, Zimbabwe, Italy, Malaysia, and Burma entered into Sanqingshan and felt its beauty.   

The activity invited diplomats stationed in China to experience the magnificence of Sanqingshan and its harmonious ecology as well as profound cultural deposit so as to raise Sanqingshan to international platform and attract more international friends to Sanqingshan. Thus it was meaningful for Sanqingshan to tap international market.

In the four-day activity, diplomats came to key scenic area of Sanqingshan and were stunned by the wonderfulness of nature. After arriving at the Lingtoushan Village at the feet of Sanqingshan, they wrapped Zongzi, made Mazi and grinded beancurd, experiencing the unique local folk custom. Then, they presented the “Beautiful Sanqingshan-Shared Gift of Nature Forum” where they discussed the eco-friendly protection, management and cultural connotation.
