From October 24-26, 2014, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark dispatched personnel to attend the Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark Landscape Protection and Sustainable Development Symposium.   

The symposium took “landscape protection and sustainable development” as its theme. UNESCO GGN Executive Board expert Maria-Luise Frey as well as other domestic and foreign experts and scholars, geopark management representatives discussed global geopark’s problems in landscape protection and park sustainable development and exchanged their respective experience.

After the conference, representatives visited Tailaoshan Park of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark and came up with precious suggestions toward the future development of Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark.
