From January 13th to 19th, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark sent personnel to attend the Geopark Management and Development International Training Course held in Beijing, and successfully concluded the class.  Over 60 students including administrators of domestic global geoparks, geopark experts and science cooperation partners participated in the training.  

Sanqingshan designed a poster themed “Construction Characteristics of Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark” and displayed it in the Training Course. In the geopark workshop, presentations keynoted as “community’s participation in geotourism” were delivered and lecturing experts made comments, answered questions and moreover, conducted in-situ survey in Fangshan and Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark respectively.

The Training Courses took high-efficiency construction and operation of geopark as its motif and were all lectured by international top-notch global geoparks experts including Global Geoparks Executive Board members who also answered questions related to the park. On the course conclusion ceremony, organizer spoke highly of the high-effectiveness of the training and expressed its willingness to continue to organize such trainings in China.
