On September 10th and 11th, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark arranged personnel to attend the 29th Annual Seminar and Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark Construction and Tourism Development Symposium organized by Geotourism and Geopark Research Branch of Chinese Geology Society. Over 200 representatives from 27 provinces and Hong Kong, Taiwan Region gathered in Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark and initiated high-level dialogue concerning construction and management of global geoparks as well as geotourism research and development, etc.   

This seminar made 15 reports in total where participating experts and scholars jointly summarized research achievements of tourism geoscience, and reviewed construction experience of GGN over the past decade and organized specific discussion on construction and management of Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark of China.

Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark discussed park’s construction and management work with participating experts and scholars and attended the opening ceremony of Yanqing UNESCO Global Geopark and conducted in-situ survey of the park.
