“Results of the Primary School Student Painting Contest with a Theme of “Using a Paintbrush to Tell the Story about Me and Sanqingshan" have Come out ~




In order to inspire the children’s love for their hometown and further enhance their environmental awareness as well as establish a green concept of harmony between man and nature, and to respond to the "Sustainable Tourism Development Year" theme of UNESCO World Geopark, the occasion of the World Environmental Protection Day, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark has organized a painting contest for primary school students with a theme of " Using a paintbrush to tell the story about me and Sanqingshan" at the approach of World Environment Day.

The painting contest was co-sponsored by Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark Administration and Education and Sports Bureau. The nature and culture of Sanqingshan served as the creative material. Since the beginning in April, many teachers and students had participated in the contest. After the primary selection, 20 works stood out. With the paintbrush in their hands, the children depicted the images of Sanqingshan in their hearts, which showed love for Sanqingshan of the next generation, the responsibility to protect the environment, and the students’ vision of the beautiful and elegant Sanqing.

In the appraisal and selection meeting organized on April 20th, after the appraisal and discussion of the teachers, the list of 1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize of the painting contest was released. Winning works were as follows:
