Sanqingshan representatives attended the 2017 annual meeting of Chinese Global Geoparks.

　　On November 14th 2017, Representatives from Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark participated in the annual meeting of the UNESCO Global Geoparks of China held in Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark.

　　More than 200 attendees from the Ministry of Land and Resources of China, the Department of Land and Resources of Fujian Province, the officals from provinces and municipalities, and 35 UNESCO global geoparks, 2 aspiring global geoparks, etc., gathered to exchange achievements and share experiences.

　　During the meeting, the new members of the Global Geoparks Network, Aershan and Ketohaihai, presented their own geoparks; Zhijidong Cave UNESCO Global Geopark shared the achievements and experience in organizing the fifth APGN Symposium; Ningde UNESCO Global Geopark shared their experience how the geopark promoted the development of local economy; Guangwushan, Huanggang Dabieshan, Shennongjia and other geoparks respectively exchanged their experiences in applying for a membership of UNESCO global geopark or preparing the revalidation; and the new evaluators from the GGN evaluation team respectively shared their experiences. At the same time, the handover ceremony of the annual meeting of the UNESCO Global Geoparks was held and the next annual meeting would be held in Yandangshan UNESCO Global Geopark.
