Zihu Town is located at the east part of Sanqingshan and the middle of Jinsha, upstream of the Xinjian River; it is the east gate of Sanqingshan. It covers an area of 143km2. The local ancients immigrated from the south of Fujian Province, so they still speak Southern Fujian Dialect and keep the traditions of Southern Fujian.So it is called "the first town of Xinjiang source, and the minnan under the Mount Sanqingshan".

　　It has stunning scenery and is rich in tourism resources. It not only includes typical geological heritage, such as Zihu-Fenglin Fault Belt, fracture structure, purplish-red sandstoneand so on, but also has natural landscapes, such as Sanqing Reservoir, Jinsha Creek, Fenglin Waterfall, Xiaoyuan Waterfall, Daling Canyon, and Tucheng Cave, etc., and cultural heritage, such as Daju Ancient Houses, Lin Ancestral Hall, Yan Ancestral Hall, Zihu Lantern which has been selected for the fifth batch of intangible cultural heritage list of Jiangxi Province.
